Food Service Sanitation Training
The Hospitality and Entrepreneurship Training Center offers 5 hour refresher and traditional 15 hour food safety training class. These classes offer certification from The City of Chicago, State of Illinois and the National Restaurant Association. Classes can be scheduled to provide all three certification at once.
Hospitality and Service Industry Training
Sanitation Licenses (3), National Retail Federation Customer Service (1), American Hotel Association Entry Level Uniform Services Certification (1), Any hotel staff who wears a unifom-23 job classifications, American Heart Association (3) CPR, Firs Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens, GED preparation if applicable. WIA/POET Certified
Professional Restaurant Management Training
Human Resource Management and Supervision, Hospitality and Restaurant Management, Accounting, Nutrition; Menu Marketing Management, Food Service Sanitation, ServSafe Alcohol, Customer Service, Inventory and Purchasing, Food Production. (14 Certifications). WIA/POET Certified
Hospitality and Entrepreneurship
Combines all of the hospitality and service industry course with all entrepreneurship as listed above in Entrepreneurship and Hospitality and Service Industry Training. WIA/POET Certified
Event Planning & Catering Training
Food and Beverage Customer Service, Wedding Planning; Sanitation; Cost Control, Safe Alcohol handling 6 certifications. WIA/POET Certified

ManageFirst Certificates
Participants in the ManageFirst Program earn ManageFirst Program certificates after passing the exam correlating to a ManageFirst topic. These certificates reward students for their accomplishment and serve as a resource to be used in the job search process. Further, industry hiring managers can look for these certificates when searching for top-shelf, qualified talent.
ManageFirst Professional (MFP) Credential
The ManageFirst Professional credential is a distinguished recognition endorsed by the National Restaurant Association Solutions. This credential represents both dedication and proven management skills. Those who earn the MFP have passed five required ManageFirst exams (including ServSafe) and accrued 800 hours of industry work experience. Seeing “ManageFirst Professional” or “MFP” on a resume indicates that the candidate has mastered key skills and has real-world experience. These candidates can hit the ground running.
ManageFirst Program Topics:
Each ManageFirst Competency Guides focuses on key management topics. The Competency Guides, ServSafe and ServSafe Alcohol are organized into the following ManageFirst subject areas. In order to receive the ManageFirst Professional (MFP) credential, a student must pass four Core Credential exams and one Foundation exam.
